Kyle Twa

Co-President

Kyle Twa got his start in the energy sector in 1993.  Throughout his 24-year career, Kyle has held various positions related to field construction and field optimization.  His broad range of experience ranges from management of extensive production equipment fleets to design and commissioning of production facilities.

In 2002, Kyle founded Gasfield Energy Services, a company focused on the operation and maintenance of rotating production equipment and facilities.  After expansion throughout western Canada, the company was sold in 2009 to an Alberta-based compression packager.

Jay Formenti

Co-President

Jay started in the Oil and Gas Industry in 2004, working in sales for a number of pipeline and facility construction companies. From there, he’s held various positions in Business Development in the construction and drilling field; however, he has focused on the production side over the past 8 years.

During his latest role with Ironline Compression, as Director of Business Development, he helped transition Exterran’s Canadian Asset from a US publicly traded company to a US-based Private Equity Firm. His day-to-day role with Ironline Compression included managing their active and idle compression assets, actively selling both rental and sales into the Canadian and US markets and developing their sales and marketing plan.

Joe Davis

Operations Manager

Joe started working in gas compression in 2009 at Midwestern Compressor, later becoming CPI Compressor. He gained experience working on various compressor retrofits, rebuilding engine/ compressor components and lubrication systems, while attaining his Red Seal Millwright ticket.

In 2014, Joe went to Sage Energy as a service mechanic, working on compressor overhauls in the shop and field. While there, he also worked on packages for lease and in the fabrication shop. Joe joined Midstream Equipment in 2018. He now oversees the work being performed on projects for customers while managing operations at our Strathmore yard.

brad Schauer

Sales Manager

With a career spanning 14 years in the Oil and Gas industry, Brad has traveled a remarkable professional journey. He began in the trenches, gaining invaluable experience in field service before transitioning to the strategic role of Asset Manager. In this capacity, he honed his understanding of the industry’s needs and the critical role asset management plays in its success. During the course of his career, Brad has brought his industry knowledge, coupled with his exceptional sales acumen, to forge successful partnerships and drive business growth.  His dedication, resilience, and commitment to exceeding client expectations have been the cornerstones of his remarkable journey in the ever-evolving world of Oil and Gas.

Chase Dziatkewich

Electrical and Instrumentation Lead

Chase has worked in Oil and Gas doing Instrumentation since 2010. Starting out building and tubing compressor units and separator packages in various shops around Calgary, as well as working up North on projects such as Kirby Lake South. In 2017, Chase was with Bidell Gas Compressions, building compressor packages for just over 2 years before joining Inphase E&I out of Brooks, which later became CDN Controls. While with CDN Brooks for 4 years, he helped with the Instrumentation and Commissioning of the Rocky Mountain Clean Fuels Facility south of Strathmore; along with various other field jobs. He would later become Midstream’s main Instrument Tech working with them in their yard on many retrofit units and compressor packages before joining their team in July of 2023 as their E&I Lead.
